Sparkling Malbec "Tentation"2007
| Our Sparkling Malbec is made from our rosé Malbec, which is a result of the first juice that is released during the fermentation and which is converted into wine during more than 27 days at a low temperature. As soon as the alcoholic fermentation is finished, this wine is completed by a company, specialized in making sparkling wines, which takes place in profound limestone caves, at a temperature of 13°C. With the bottlenecks turned downwards, during 4 to 6 weeks the bottles are turned by hand. Under influence of the gravity all the sediment accumulates to the level of the cork, where it is frosted in a bath of minus 20°C. Then the following is done. Together with the cork the frosted sediment is removed, a so called “liqueur d’expédition” is added, and the content of the bottle is turned to its initial level. Finally the bottle is closed with a cork. Drink our Sparkling Malbec “Tentation” at a temperature of about 10°C. It is suitable for an aperitif, but also very nice to accompany your dessert. |
